Terms of service

Welcome to Lentila. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Lentila, a brand operated by OnH.Co. We run this store and website, including all information, content, features, tools, products and services offered through it (the "Services"). Lentila is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service, together with every policy referenced in them (the "Terms"), set out your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read them carefully. They contain important information about your legal rights, including limits on our liability.

By visiting, using or interacting with the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Access and accounts

By agreeing to these Terms you confirm that you are of legal age in the place where you live. If you let a minor in your care use the Services on a device you own or control, you accept responsibility for that use.

To browse, buy or otherwise use the Services you may need to give us certain information, an email address, and billing, payment and delivery details. You confirm that the information you give us is accurate, current and complete, and that you are entitled to provide it.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You may not transfer, sell or licence your account to anyone else.
2. Our products

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours and appearance may still differ on your screen depending on your device and its settings.

We do not warrant that a product will look or taste exactly as shown, or that it will meet your expectations in every respect.

Product descriptions may change at any time. We may discontinue a product, and we may limit the quantities we offer to any person, region or country.
3. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we confirm it. Payment is taken when you place the order.

We may accept or decline an order at our discretion. If we decline, change or cancel an order we will contact you using the email address, postal address or telephone number you gave us, and we will refund any payment taken.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right of withdrawal you have under the law where you live. Those rights are set out in our Refund Policy.

You confirm that what you buy is for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.
4. Funding rounds

Some products are sold as part of a funding round. A round works like this.

1. We open a round with a stated minimum number of mangroves and a
closing date.
2. You join the round by buying the product described on that round's
page. This is a purchase, not a donation and not a subscription.
3. When the round closes we count the orders received and place the
production order against that number.
4. Lentila commissions and funds the mangrove planting associated with the
round, and publishes the location, species, tree count and survival readings as they are surveyed.

If a round does not reach its minimum, we do not produce and we refund you in full. You do not need to ask.

Because production is committed against the count at closing, a round order may be cancelled at any time while the round is open, but not for a change of mind afterwards. Your statutory right of withdrawal is unaffected, see our Refund Policy.

Dates shown on a round page are estimates. If a shipping date moves we will tell you by email.

What joining a round is not. Joining a round is a pre-order of the goods described. It is not a carbon offset, not a securities investment, not a donation to a third party, and it does not entitle you to any environmental claim on your own behalf. Lentila is the party that commissions and funds the planting.
5. Prices and billing

Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice. The price you pay is the price shown when we accept your order, and it is set out in your order confirmation. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude taxes, shipping, handling, customs duties and import charges.

Prices here may differ from prices in any physical shop or other channel. Promotions may carry their own terms; where those conflict with these Terms, the promotion's terms apply to that promotion.

You agree to give us current, complete and accurate purchase and account information, and to keep it up to date so that we can complete your transaction and contact you.

You confirm that: (i) the payment details you give us are true, accurate and complete; (ii) you are authorised to use that payment method; (iii) the charge will be honoured by your payment provider; and (iv) you will pay the amount charged, including shipping, handling and any applicable taxes.
6. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

Round products are produced after the round closes. Delivery of a round product therefore takes several weeks from the closing date. The estimated shipping date is shown on each round's page, and we will tell you by email if it changes.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance or events outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you when the goods are handed to the carrier.
7. Intellectual property

The Services, including all brands, text, displays, images, graphics, reviews, video and audio, and their design, selection and arrangement , belong to Lentila, our affiliates or our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws.

These Terms let you use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Without our prior written consent you may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, republish, download, store or transmit material from the Services. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right in any patent, trade mark, copyright or other intellectual property of Lentila, Shopify or any third party. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

The Lentila name, logo, product and service names, designs and slogans are marks of Lentila or our affiliates or licensors. You may not use them without our prior written permission. The Shopify name, logo and marks belong to Shopify. All other marks used in the Services belong to their respective owners.
8. Optional tools

We may give you access to third-party tools through the Services. We neither monitor nor control them.

You accept that such tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, representation, condition or endorsement from us. We accept no liability arising from your use of an optional tool.

Using an optional tool is entirely at your own risk and discretion. You should read and agree to the terms on which the relevant provider supplies it.

We may add new features and tools to the Services. Those become part of the Services and are covered by these Terms.
9. Third-party links

The Services may contain material from, and links to, websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for reviewing or evaluating the content or accuracy of any such material or site, and visiting it is at your own risk.

We are not liable for any harm or loss connected with your use of a third-party site, or with any product, service, resource or content obtained there. Please review the policies and practices of any third party before you transact with them. Complaints, claims or questions about a third party's products or services should go to that third party.
10. Relationship with Shopify

Lentila is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. Every sale and purchase transaction in this store is made directly with Lentila. By using the Services you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any part of the sales activity between you and Lentila, including any injury, damage or loss arising from the products or services you buy. You release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities arising out of or connected with your purchases and transactions with Lentila.
11. Privacy

Any personal information we collect through the Services is handled under our Privacy Policy. Certain personal information is also handled under Shopify's privacy policy. By using the Services you confirm that you have read and understood these.

Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit may be transferred to and shared with Shopify and others who may be located in a country other than the one you live in. For details, please read our Privacy Policy.
12. Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, feedback, reviews, plans or other content ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sub-licensable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display it in any medium and for any purpose, including commercial use, for example to operate, evaluate, improve and promote the Services.

You confirm that: (i) you own or hold all necessary rights in your Feedback; (ii) you have disclosed any compensation or incentive you received in connection with it; and (iii) your Feedback complies with these Terms. We are not obliged to keep Feedback confidential, to pay for it, or to respond to it.

We may, but need not, monitor, edit or remove Feedback that we consider unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, otherwise objectionable, or in breach of anyone's intellectual property or of these Terms.

You agree that your Feedback will not infringe anyone's rights, including copyright, trade mark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary rights; that it contains nothing defamatory, unlawful, abusive or obscene; and that it contains no virus or other malicious software. You may not use a false email address, impersonate anyone, or otherwise mislead us or others about the origin of Feedback. You are responsible for your Feedback and its accuracy.
13. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions

Information in the Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including in product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times and availability. We may correct any such error, change or update information, and cancel orders (including after they have been submitted) without prior notice.
14. Prohibited uses

You may access and use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not, directly or indirectly, use the Services: (a) for any unlawful or malicious purpose; (b) in breach of any applicable law or regulation; (c) to infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's; (d) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, disparage, intimidate or discriminate against our staff or anyone else; (e) to submit false or misleading information; (f) to transmit, receive, upload, download, use or reuse material that does not comply with these Terms; (g) to send or procure the sending of advertising or promotional material, including "junk mail", "chain letters" or "spam"; (h) to impersonate any person or entity; or (i) to interfere with or circumvent the use or enjoyment of the Services, or to do anything else that we consider damaging to Lentila, Shopify or users of the Services.

You also agree not to: (a) upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code; (b) reproduce, duplicate, copy, extract, sell, resell or exploit any part of the Services; (c) collect or track anyone's personal information; (d) spam, phish, pharm or impersonate through the Services; (e) use robots, spiders, scrapers, data-harvesting tools, automated devices or processes, AI tools (including agentic AI), or any automated or manual means to access the Services; or (f) interfere with, bypass or circumvent any security or authentication feature, robot-exclusion header or other measure we apply. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time without notice if we consider that you have breached these Terms.
15. Agents

15.1 This section applies if you permit, enable or deploy an agent to access, use or interact with the Services. An "agent" means software or a service that takes autonomous or semi-autonomous action on behalf of, or at the direction of, a person or entity, and that may run on or through a person's device without direct supervision.

15.2 No agent may access, use or interact with the Services unless it identifies itself at all times and operates in strict compliance with 15.4. If we ask an agent to refrain from accessing, using or interacting with a given part of the Services, it must not do so.

15.3 We may limit whether and how agents access, use and interact with the Services, including by technical measures.

15.4 An agent must: (i) identify in every HTTP/HTTPS request that the request comes from an agent, and disclose the agent's name by including "agent/[agent name]" in the request's user-agent string; (ii) not conceal or obscure that the access, use or interaction comes from an agent, whether by mimicking human behaviour and interaction patterns or by completing or circumventing CAPTCHA or other measures intended to distinguish computer use from human use; (iii) answer truthfully any query or request seeking to determine whether an interaction comes from a human or a computer; and (iv) not circumvent or evade any measure intended to block, limit, modify or control whether and how agents access, use or interact with the Services.
16. Termination

We may terminate this agreement or your use of the Services (or any part of it) at any time and without notice, at our discretion. You remain responsible for all amounts incurred up to the date of termination.

The following survive termination: sections 7, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23, and any other provision that by its nature should survive.
17. Disclaimer of warranties

Information provided through the Services is for general information only. We do not warrant its accuracy, completeness or usefulness, and any reliance you place on it is at your own risk. We disclaim all liability arising from reliance on such material by you or by any other visitor.

Except where we say otherwise expressly, the Services and all products supplied through them are provided "as is" and "as available" without representation, warranty or condition of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty or condition of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title or non-infringement. We do not warrant that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

Nothing in this section affects rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded or limited.
18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Lentila nor our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers or licensors, nor Shopify or its affiliates, will be liable for any injury, loss or claim, or for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, replacement costs or similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of the Services or of any product obtained through them, or from any error or omission in any content.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Lentila, Shopify and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers from any liability arising out of (1) your breach of these Terms or of any document they incorporate by reference, (2) your violation of any law or of any third party's rights, or (3) your access to and use of the Services.

We will notify you of any indemnified claim, though a delay in notice does not release your obligations unless it materially prejudices you. We may control the defence and settlement of the claim, including choice of counsel, but we will not settle a claim that imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent, which you will not unreasonably withhold. You will cooperate in the defence, including by providing relevant documents.
20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and the unenforceable part will be treated as severed. This does not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
21. Waiver, entire agreement

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms, together with any policy or operating rule we post in connection with the Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and us and govern your use of the Services. They supersede any prior agreement, communication or proposal, whether oral or written, including any earlier version of these Terms.

Any ambiguity in these Terms will not be construed against the drafter.
22. Assignment

You may not delegate, assign or transfer these Terms or your rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent, and any attempt to do so is void. We may transfer, assign or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent or notice.
23. Governing law

These Terms and any separate agreement by which we provide Services to you are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the courts of the Republic of Korea have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. For buyers in the United Kingdom and the European Union in particular, your statutory rights , including your right of withdrawal, apply regardless of this section.

Headings are for convenience only and do not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
25. Changes to these Terms

You can always find the current version of these Terms on this page.

We may update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting the change on this website. It is your responsibility to check this page from time to time. Where the law requires it, we will notify you of material changes, which take effect on the date stated in the notice. Continuing to use the Services after a change is posted means you accept it.
