Shipping Policy

Lentila ships from Seoul, Republic of Korea.

1. When your order ships

Boxes from a round are not in stock when you order. Nothing is made
before the round closes.

Recipe, packaging and lab testing all start the moment a round clears
its minimum, while it is still open. So by the time a round closes the
only work left is making the boxes and sending them. They leave our
warehouse within about two weeks of the closing date shown on the round
page.

The round page always shows the current expected shipping date. If that
date moves, we write to everyone in the round before it moves, not after.

2. How we ship

Orders travel by sea with Korea Post and are handed to your national
postal service for the last part of the journey. In the United Kingdom
that is Royal Mail.

Sea freight is slower than air but far less costly, and it is how we keep
the shipping charge where it is. Allow around four to six weeks from
dispatch for delivery.

You receive a tracking number by email when your order leaves us.

3. Shipping charges

The shipping charge is shown on the product page and again at checkout,
before you pay. It is not added afterwards.

 

4. Taxes and duties

United Kingdom. UK VAT is charged at checkout and included in the total
you pay. There is nothing further to pay when your order arrives.

Everywhere else. Your order is sent without local tax added. Your customs
authority may charge import VAT, duty and a handling fee before it is
released to you. These are set by your country, not by us. We cannot tell
you the amount in advance and it is not part of what you pay us. In the
European Union this applies to every order, whatever it cost.

5. Wrong address

Please check your delivery address before you pay. Once an order has
been handed to Korea Post we cannot change it or recall it. Orders
returned to us because of an incorrect address can be sent again once
the return postage has been covered.

6. If your order does not arrive

Tracking for sea freight can go quiet for long stretches. That is normal
and not a sign that anything is wrong.

If your order has not arrived eight weeks after dispatch, email us and
we will open an enquiry with Korea Post. If it is lost, we replace it or
refund it.

7. Where we ship

We ship worldwide.

This round is built around the United Kingdom, and the shipping charge,
the delivery estimate and the tax treatment above are written for orders
going there. Boxes reach other countries too, but they can take longer
and section 4 applies to them.
